History of the Friends

The Friends of Wood Library was started in the 1960s. It has had several "resurrections" over the years, but in 1999 an enthusiastic group began the new "Friends" with great success (and a lot of fun!). Do join us to realize our goals.

The goal of Friends of Wood Library is to promote the library through publicity, social activities, and events that serve the community.

Membership

To become a Friend, participate in upcoming events, support Wood Library, and receive the newsletter, please click here for membership application. Membership Rates: Individual Membership $10, Senior Citizen (55+) $5, Student $5, Family $25, Best Friend $40, Friend for Life $100. The Membership year runs from January 1 through December 31.
